<h2>Sustainable Water<br></h2>
<p>A shortage of land and high population density means Singapore can't build more reservoirs, it relies heavily on Malaysia to supply it with water suitable for drinking where the current agreement expires in 2061. Water security has been a top priority for the government with programmes to reclaim water... unsure of health effects.<br></p>
<h2>Air Pollution</h2>
<p>Haze from Sumatra and fumes from Pasir Gudang in Johor. Note that poisonous fumes from petrochemical plants are several times more hazardous than the haze from forest fires in Sumatra. The problem is that we can't control what happens on the other side.</p>
<h2>Import of Foreigners</h2>
<p>Singapore is one of the few countries in the world with an extremely large proportion of foreigners - about 40%. This leads to resentment among the locals due to competition for jobs, over crowdedness in usage of basic infrastructure such as transport and housing, dilution of national identity, etc.</p>
<h2>Brain Drain</h2>
<p>Singapore faces a serious issue of brain drain. It was revealed that an average of 1,000 Singaporeans gave up their citizenship every year between 2000 and 2010. Note that 1000 out of a local population of just 3.2 million citizens is considered high. Citizensship rules they are not allowed another citizenship.</p>
<h2>Power</h2>
<p>There have been reports that Singapore may look into the possibility of using nuclear power in the future. This is a serious matter since you need to have very competent engineers and scientists maintaining these plants</p>

<p>Land space, our land is limited, our population will grow, whether you like it or not.</p>
<h2>Competition</h2>
<p>Any country can become like us in 50years, would be a big challenge when it occurs.</p>
